How our revision hub works
Most revision resources tell you what to study. They don't tell you whether you've actually understood it — you find that out in the exam, which is too late to be useful. The eClassroom revision hub is built around the opposite idea. Every question you answer, on any course or revision engine, is recorded against the topic it belongs to. Your skill tree then shows you the whole specification at a glance: what's secure, what's developing, what you've started but not finished, and what you haven't touched. It updates as you work, so it reflects where you are today rather than where you were at the start of term. That matters because revision time is finite. Most students spend it on the topics they already find comfortable, because those feel productive. The skill tree makes the uncomfortable topics visible, and the diagnostic reports turn that into a specific list — not "revise algebra", but the three algebra topics where your accuracy is lowest and what to do about each one. Everything is linked together. If the skill tree flags a weak topic, one click takes you to the course that teaches it, the revision engine that drills it, or the worksheet that tests it under exam conditions. The video below walks through what that looks like in practice.
eClassroom's Daily challenge
A new question every day, and not the kind you'd expect. Rather than asking you to solve a problem from scratch, the daily challenge shows you a worked solution that contains exactly one error, and asks you to find the line where it goes wrong. It takes about thirty seconds. The reason for the format is simple: spotting a mistake in someone else's working is a different skill from doing the maths yourself, and it's the one that actually decides marks. Most lost marks in GCSE and A-Level maths don't come from not knowing the method — they come from a sign error, a misread question, or a step applied in the wrong order, and from not catching it on the way through. Students who can check their own work under pressure score higher than students who can only produce it. Questions rotate across GCSE and A-Level and across every strand, so over a term you'll see errors from Number through to calculus. There's no sign-up, no streak to maintain and nothing to lose if you miss a day.
Free maths revision for GCSE, iGCSE and A-Level
What's on eClassroom
eClassroom is a free maths platform for GCSE, iGCSE, A-Level and International A-Level students. Everything on the platform is free to use, with no limits and no paywall. We fund it through one-to-one tuition, which is entirely optional. 165 interactive courses. Every topic on the GCSE and A-Level specifications has its own course. Each teaches the method through worked examples, then asks you to try questions yourself with instant feedback — so you find out whether you've understood as you go, rather than at the end of a page. Over 20 revision engines with unlimited questions. The engines generate a new question every time rather than serving from a fixed bank, so you can't run out of practice or memorise the answers. They mark your work instantly and accept any mathematically equivalent form, whether you write an answer as a surd, a fraction or a negative index. Over 100 worksheets with full solutions. Printable PDF worksheets for every topic, with questions grouped into fluency, reasoning and problem solving, and step-by-step worked solutions in a separate file. A skill tree that tracks everything. Your accuracy on each topic is recorded as you work, so you can see at a glance what's secure, what's developing and what hasn't been started. Diagnostic reports turn that into a specific list of what to revise next. Free student tools. A formula sheet builder that creates a personalised sheet of everything you need to memorise, an exam paper builder that assembles a custom paper from any combination of topics, and a revision timetable maker.
GCSE and iGCSE maths topics covered
The GCSE material covers all six strands: Number, Algebra, Ratio and Proportion, Geometry, Probability, and Data and Statistics. Content spans both Foundation and Higher tier, and questions are written to match the style of Edexcel iGCSE 4MA1 while remaining suitable for AQA, OCR and Edexcel GCSE.
A-Level and International A-Level maths revision
A-Level material is organised by exam module — Pure 1 to 4, Statistics 1 and Mechanics 1 — matching how the International A-Level is taught and assessed. Topic-based revision engines cover differentiation, integration, algebra, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, exponentials and logarithms, sequences and series, and vectors. Suitable for Edexcel 9MA0 and iAL, and useful for AQA, OCR and IB students too.
For schools and teachers
Teachers are welcome to use anything on the platform in class or as homework. The worksheets print cleanly, the revision engines work on any device without an account, and the diagnostic reports can be used to identify gaps across a group. If your school would like structured revision support, get in touch.
